About Fatherhood Initiative

Purpose

Empowering Young People (EYP) is committed to fostering stronger relationships between fathers and their children. Through our Fatherhood Initiative, we provide consistent mentorship and access to resources aimed at empowering fathers to become the best men they can be.

We firmly believe that by investing in fatherhood, we not only positively impact the lives of fathers and their children but also contribute to the well-being of young men and women who may be at risk. Through this initiative, we aim to cultivate stronger family bonds, instill values of responsibility and commitment, and create a brighter future for all involved.

Areas of Support

1. Financial: Access resources and guidance to improve financial literacy, budgeting skills, and access to financial assistance programs.

2. Legal Support: Receive advice with legal matters from professionals, and support in understanding rights and responsibilities.

3. Housing Assistance Resources: receive guidance and access to resources for housing-related needs.

4. Zoom Meetings: Join interactive sessions where we provide support and guidance on personal development, job opportunities, parenting skills, and more.

5. Monthly Fatherhood Engagement Outings: Participate in fun activities designed to strengthen bonds between fathers and their children.
